Application: Anchor bolts for connecting tunnel parts of the Noord-Zuid-lijn, a new metro line in Amsterdam, on either side of emergency exit sections. 11 anchor bolts of 1.44 metres to 2.20 metres long were provided with 95 pieces of ‘low clearance’ style HYTORC Nuts. This is a special spherical version intended to correct any tilt in the bolts.

Problem in old situation: A very high bolt force with high accuracy was required.
Benefits: By using custom HYTORC Nuts in combination with our tools, a high accuracy of 95% was achieved.
