The pump will automatically look for the maximum bolt load and stops when the yield-point is reached. HYTORC torque wrenches are equipped with angle sensors that constantly monitor the rotation angle. As long as the torque output and the rotation angle increase proportionally, the bolt is in its elastic zone. Once the pressure increases more than the torque output, the bolt has almost reached its yield point. The pump switches off automatically and saves all your bolting data. The entire tightening procedure is therefore documented.
