MXT+ hydraulic torque wrench

The MXT+ hydraulic torque wrench combines the best of HYTORC’s original MXT wrench, with the latest technology. Examples of improvements include the coaxial reaction drive, automatic release function, a new stroke counter and safety click connectors. Because the MXT+ is equipped with a spline on two sides, there is always a solution at hand in case of problems with (safe) support. The MXT+ is built to deliver repeatable and predictable performance in intensive industrial use. In this way we deliver the best of both worlds: The old familiar of the MXT, with the improvements of today.

Two splines, many options

Because the MXT+ is equipped with two splines, problems with finding a good and safe support point can always be solved. This makes the MXT+ the most versatile hydraulic torque wrench on the market.

Built-in cycle counter

The MXT+ has a built-in cycle counter, which can be used to determine if the key is due for maintenance or calibration.

Automatic reaction pawl increases safety and speed

The reaction pawl keeps the MXT+ tight to the support point. This prevents the reaction pawl from moving away from the support point during work, thus causing a risk of entrapment. The reaction pawl also absorbs torsion in the bolt or stud. This ensures that the wrench cannot turn back and that each stroke is maximally effective. When the set torque is reached, a push of the pump control button is enough to release the wrench.

Improved couplings

The new safety click couplings not only make connecting the hydraulic hoses a lot easier, but also ensure a safe connection. The couplings “click” into place and can then be easily locked. This prevents the couplings from slipping off and causing accidents.
