HYTORC TRUE-LOCK washer – Fasteners

The HYTORC TRUE-LOCK significantly enhances the HYTORC Reaction Washer by adding a locking function that minimizes bolt loosening under dynamic loads. Thanks to the strategic placement of a cam band on the surface, the new reaction washer prevents preloaded fasteners from loosening. At the same time, it retains all the advantages of the traditional HYTORC reaction washer, such as safety, speed, and long tool life.

Prevents loosening
Standard preloaded fasteners can loosen due to vibrations that cause relative movement between surfaces. The serrated surface of the TRUE-LOCK Washer locks the nut during torque application, preventing loosening. This locking design has been verified by the Junker test, an industry standard that simulates the transverse forces that can loosen an assembly.
Safety
The TRUE-LOCK washer features a petal-shaped design that securely engages with a socket driver or reaction plate to absorb reaction forces during torque applications. Consistent with the standard HYTORC reaction washer, the new TRUE-LOCK washer eliminates the need for a separate reaction arm, reducing pinch points and lowering the risk of hand injuries.
Two wrenches in one
The unique design of the TRUE-LOCK Washer locks the fastener during tightening. When combined with a HYTORC torque wrench, the J-Washer delivers unmatched efficiency and significantly reduces working time.
