Prevents loosening
Standard preloaded fasteners can loosen due to vibrations that cause relative movement between surfaces. The serrated surface of the J-Washer locks the nut in place when torque is applied, preventing it from coming loose. This locking design has been verified by the Junker test, an industry-standard method that simulates the transverse forces capable of loosening the assembly.
Safety
The J-Washer features a flower-shaped design that securely connects to a socket driver or reaction plate to absorb reaction forces during torque operations. In line with the standard HYTORC Reaction Washer, the new J-Washer eliminates the need for a separate reaction arm, reducing bottlenecks and lowering the risk of hand injuries.
Two wrenches in one
The unique design of the J-Washer locks the fastener in place during tightening. When used in combination with a HYTORC torque wrench, the J-Washer delivers unmatched efficiency and significantly reduces work time.
