Hydraulic backup wrenches
You place the hydraulic retaining wrench on the counter-nut, tighten the nut to be tightened with a torque wrench and then remove the retaining wrench from the counter-nut very easily and safely. Because the tension is hydraulically released, no hammer or socket wrench is needed. Compared to an impact wrench, a backup wrench works a whole lot faster. This is mainly because it takes more time to insert an impact wrench, run it on and knock it loose again. Because the backup wrench releases easily, there is no risk of flying tools. This immediately makes the backup wrench a lot safer.
During the tightening process, you can keep your hands away from the backup wrench and the wrench so they don’t get trapped.
- Twelve-pointed pieces are easily exchanged for other sizes
- Easy and safe to make tension-free

Easy to release
The built-up tension can easily be released by turning the siphon. An extra wrench or hammer is therefore not necessary. This is much safer and faster than an impact wrench.

Quickly change between different sizes
Because the ring is interchangeable, one counter wrench is all you need. The different rings are available from 36 mm - 80 mm.

Ergonomic safety handle
Using the safety handle, the hydraulic backstop wrench is always easy to position. The rough rubber handle ensures optimum grip, even in combination with work gloves.
